At its recent meeting, the Board of Directors approved a proposal to change the holiday trading schedule for weather contracts.  As a result, the closing time on Friday, February 13 for weather contracts will be 12:00noon, rather than the previously announced 3:15 p.m. close.

This change comes at the request of market participants, so that the weather products’ trading hours more closely resemble those of the NYMEX energy contracts (rather than equities) because they are often traded in conjunction with the energy products.
